You can record results any time you like, either just mentally or by writing it down. Once a week is a good target. Don't get too side tracked or distracted on over recording information though - you don't have to write it down or record things everytime you step on the scales for instance. Monitoring results will help you to know if you are on the right track. Listening to your body's feedback is the best way of knowing you are on track to achieving your goals.
